Sparrow Minihopper remains to be a challenging venture. The aim is to provide seamless services from smaller and even remote towns to at least one airport with connectivity.
The largest aircraft are Shorts 360s. These unpressurized aircraft are cheap to operate, but can´t be compared to similarily-sized aircraft due to rather short range and slow speed. Thus, the aircraft are oiperated on short routes, while the smaller 19-seat Jetstream 31s are able to cover slightly longer routes.
Our main tool are Pilatus PC24-jets, which offer unbeatable performance with a capacity for up to ten passengers. Operational experience was gained from other PC-24-operators like Aerolineas Dominicanas and Patagonian Airlink. The PC-24s will be used to connect small communites even better.
