Inter Colombia is a small airline, offering flights with Fokker 100s, Avro RJs, as well as Airbus A300s (on trunk routes).

Despite pleasant operating economics, the Fokker 100 is simply too small for major routes. To counter this fact, frequencies were increased and 29 frames are used extensively. The Avroliner RJs serve different markets despite being used also on major domestic routes. The versatility and ability to serve airports with shorter are main reasons to operate this type of aircraft. 27 aircraft are part of the fleet.

For markets with higher demand and slot-restricted airports, Airbus A300s and Airbus A310s are used. The A300s are domestically, while the A310s are also used on international routes, serving Mexico City and New York. The company increased their A310-fleet and aims to expand with this type internationally. The A310-300ETs will be used to provide long haul services from Cartagena. The pace of introduction suffer some delays due to lack of financial liquity and danger of not covering cost of the actual ops.

On 04/08/24, Sparrow Air became the owner of Inter Colombia.

In mid-August 2024, Inter Colombia received slots at London-Heathrow and starts daily flights between Cartagena and London with Airbus A310-300s, the second European destination after Madrid.
