Pacific Star Airways (PX) wurde am 23.01.2010 in Salt Lake City, Utah, gegründet und ist die Mainline der Salt Lake Investments.
Nach Passagierzahlen pro Woche ist PX derzeit weltweit Nummer 8 und bietet fast 1.5 Mio Plätze pro Woche an. Der Loadfaktor liegt bei über 90%.
Pacific Star Airways betriebt eine konsequente Netzwerk-Strategie mit dem Haupthub in Omaha (OMA), Nebraskar, mit ca. 5.000 wöchentlichen Abflügen. Am Schwesterhub Kansas City (MCI), Missouri, werden über 3000 wöchentliche Flüge abgewickelt. Zusätzlich betreibt Pacific Star Airways einen Regionalhub in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Derzeit werden mit den weit über 400 Flugzeugen nur inneramerikanische Flüge angeboten. Die Flotte hat ein durchschnittliches Alter von 0,7 Jahren und setzt sich zusammen aus Boeing 737, 747 und 767. Für Strecken mit geringerem Aufkommen werden Canadair Regionaljets eingesetzt.
Pacific Star Express kennt beim Service keine Kompromisse und bietet ausnahmslos den höchst möglichen Luxus an.
Für die Zukunft hat sich Pacific Star Express das ehrgeizige Ziel gesetzt ,Passagiere aus aller Welt in die entlegensten Winkel der USA zu befördern.
